Here we go.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The right olive oil for each salad<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Extra-virgin olive oil is a gastronomic treasure in its own right and is at its finest\u00a0in its pure state. On its own, without anything else, it\u2019s the perfect companion to\u00a0any salad. And although talking about different varieties might sound a bit\u00a0pedantic, you can be sure that each variety of olive has its own subtle\u00a0differences; the key is to find the perfect balance with the food in question. For\u00a0example, if you\u2019re making a salad with lettuce leaves, garden produce and lots\u00a0of vegetables, then the bitter, herby Picual variety is the one to use. If, on the\u00a0other hand, you\u2019re throwing together avocado, cheese, raisins, etc., you\u2019d be\u00a0better off going for the nutty Hojiblanca variety. And the lovely and sweet\u00a0Arbequina variety is the perfect match for fresh fruit. Instead of adding each ingredient directly onto\u00a0the salad one by one, make the dressing first and season to taste.
