Try this quick thought exercise: picture the masses of different\u00a0fruits out there and then start to pick and mix. You\u2019ll soon see that there are\u00a0dozens and dozens of new combinations you might never have thought of.<\/p>\n<p>But don\u2019t just imagine it\u2014experiment! By all means add fresh fruit to salads, but\u00a0try out some fruit dressings, balsamic glazes and vinaigrettes as well. You have\u00a0no idea what a dash of raspberry does to tomato or what a perfect pairing\u00a0mango and cheese make. More ideas? Here are three mouthwatering recipes\u00a0for salads with fruit:<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Goat\u2019s cheese, strawberry and spinach salad<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>Start with a bed of shiny, fresh spinach leaves with plenty of texture and then\u00a0add some strong, creamy goat\u2019s cheese. Wash, dry and slice up some\u00a0strawberries and dress with extra-virgin olive oil, salt and vinegar or Modena\u00a0balsamic vinegar. Top it off with some toasted pine nuts, raisins or walnuts.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Avocado, mango and prawn salad<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>This time, we\u2019ll use rocket instead of spinach to give it a bit more of a bite (if\u00a0you\u2019d prefer a milder flavour, you can mix in some lamb\u2019s lettuce as well). On\u00a0top of the green leaves, arrange some cooked, peeled and cleaned king prawns\u00a0(use a toothpick to remove the vein), together with some mango and avocado\u00a0chunks (as big or small as you like).<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Chicory with pear and blue cheese<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>An ideal starter or appetiser, this festival of flavours combines the bitter edge of\u00a0chicory with sharp, salty blue cheese and sweet pear. Wash and dry the chicory\u00a0leaves and arrange them on a dish with the curved sides facing upwards.\u00a0Crumble the blue cheese over the chicory and then add the sliced or cubed\u00a0pear.
