Pistachios, a great source of antioxidants

Recent research conducted by the University of Pennsylvania, and published in The Journal of Nutrition, has found that eating pistachios raises the level of serum antioxidants, such as lutein and gamma-Tocopherol.

These help reduce LDL cholesterol in the blood, lower the risk of cardiovascular disease and facilitate muscle recovery after intense physical exertion.
