Enjoying international cuisine in your home is as simple as making this chicken with almonds Chinese style.
Chicken with almonds
- 40 g of raw almonds without skin
- 200 g chicken breast cut into strips
- 20 ml sugar-free soy sauce
- 50 g of crushed tomato
- A splash of Borges extra virgin olive oil
Step by step
Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. Fry it in the pan or in the wok with a good splash of extra virgin olive oil, stirring constantly, until it’s toasted. You can add a touch of ginger, coriander or spices to taste.
Roast the almonds in another pan, taking care not to burn them, and add them to the chicken. Add the crushed tomatoes and fry for a few minutes. Finally, pour in a dash of soy sauce and stir for a few minutes, so that the flavors become impregnated. If you like, serve with basmati rice.
