Grilled Scallops with Garlic Mayonnaise

Cooking scallops at home is easier than it looks! Make this dish for the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 12 cleaned scallops
  • A drizzle of Borges extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

For the garlic sauce

  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar of Modena
  • 1 teaspoon Borges extra virgin olive oil
  • A little lemon zest

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Dry the scallops well with a paper towel and season them with salt and pepper.

  2. Step 2

    Prepare the sauce by combining the mayonnaise with the grated garlic, pepper, balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, and lemon zest and mixing fully.

  3. Step 3

    Heat a frying pan or grill over high heat and add some extra virgin olive oil. Cook the scallops for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until golden brown but still juicy on the inside.

    Serve immediately topped with a spoonful of the garlic sauce.
