Cook the pasta in boiling water following the instructions on the packet.
Simple, healthy pasta with broccoli
- 360 g Borges penne rigate
- 600 g broccoli
- A dash of Borges extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic
- Salt and pepper
- 100 g grated or thinly sliced Parmesan
Step by step
Cut the broccoli into florets and remove the stems.
Warm a generous splash of extra-virgin olive oil in a deep saucepan and cook the garlic for a few minutes until golden brown. Remove and put by.
Add the broccoli to the saucepan, cover and leave to cook, stirring occasionally.
When it is done, add the strained pasta and salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with grated or thinly sliced Parmesan on top.
