Spaghetti bolognese


  • 13 oz Borges spaghetti
  • 1 onion
  • 2 small carrots
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 pork bouillon cubes
  • Pork
  • 2 cups tomato puree (passata di pomodoro)
  • 2 tsp dry white wine
  • A splash of Borges extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Parmesan cheese

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Sauté the onion in a saucepan until it begins to brown. Add the finely chopped carrot and cook for another 7-8 minutes over medium heat. 

  2. Step 2

    Add the garlic and ground meat and cook well over medium heat. Add salt and pepper to taste. 

  3. Step 3

    Add the tomato purée and sauté for a few minutes. 

  4. Step 4

    Pour in the dry white wine, season with salt, cover and cook over low heat for one hour. 

  5. Step 5

    Cook the spaghetti following the instructions on the package. 

  6. Step 6

    Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce. Stir. Add salt to taste if needed. 

  7. Step 7

    Serve topped with grated parmesan.
