Polos o helados de sandía caseros servidos en un bol con cubitos de hielo

Ingredients

  • * 50 g sugar (or other sweetener, such as date paste, xylitol, or panela)
  • * 200 g watermelon
  • * ½ lemon
  • * 80 ml walnut drink Borges Natura (or 40 ml water and 40ml walnut drink)

Step by step

  1. Step 1

Natural, refreshing and tantalizingly tasty. Low-calorie watermelon popsicles are the way to go in summer.

  2. Step 2

Cut the watermelon into slices and remove the seeds.

Then add the sugar, the juice of half a lemon, and the walnut drink and beat until the sugar has completely dissolved and the watermelon is all liquid (remove any remaining lumps before freezing).

Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and put into the freezer to freeze. If you take them out before they’re completely frozen, you’ll have a delicious watermelon slush: simply pour into a glass and top off with a fresh mint leaf.
