How to keep pasta hot

Pasta quickly gets cold, which is great for making pasta salads, but not such good news when you’re rushing to cook dinner for guests. The trick for keeping pasta hot until it reaches the table (don’t rely on the sauce to “heat up” the pasta) is to warm the plates and the serving dish beforehand.
