Chicken Penne
Ingredients
- 360 g Borges penne rigate
- 350 g chicken breast
- 30 ml Borges extra virgin olive oil
- 1 small onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 200 ml half and half
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- A few leaves of fresh basil
Step by step

Step 1
Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water following the instructions on the package. Drain and set aside, reserving some of the cooking water.

Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a large frying pan. Add the diced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and brown over medium-high heat until well seared. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, sauté the chopped onion and garlic over medium heat until softened and lightly browned.

Add the paprika and the half and half. Stir and cook for a few minutes until the sauce starts to thicken.

Add the chicken and the cooked pasta. Season with salt and pepper, mix well and, if necessary, add a little of the cooking water to thin out the sauce.

Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until it melts. Serve hot topped with fresh basil.
