Ingredients

  • 500 g rehydrated salt cod, in pieces
  • 2 eggs
  • 20 ml whole milk
  • 1 clove of garlic, grated
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Classic olive oil

Step by step

  1. Step 1

Dry the cod well using paper towels. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the milk and add the grated garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  2. Step 2

In a separate bowl, mix the regular flour with the chickpea flour. Dip each piece of cod in the liquid mixture and then dredge in the flour. Make sure the pieces are fully coated.

  3. Step 3

Heat plenty of olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, fry the cod in batches, turning once, until golden brown and crispy. Take it out and let it drain on a layer of paper towels.

  4. Step 4

Serve hot, accompanied by lemon wedges.
