An irresistible apple and chocolate cake… fit for the gods!
Apple and chocolate cake
- 1 packet of shortcrust pastry
- 3 large apples (Fuji or similar)
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 4 spoonfuls of sugar (or substitute)
- 2 eggs
- 1 glass of Borges Natura walnut drink
- Borges olive oil
Step by step
Beat the eggs in a bowl, add the sugar and glass of walnut drink and mix together.
Put the pastry into a circular mould greased with olive oil and pour the melted chocolate into the mould.
Peel and cut the apples into 5 mm thick slices and arrange on top of the melted chocolate.
Pour the egg, sugar and walnut drink mixture on top and put in the over at 200 ºC. Bake for 25 minutes and serve this delicious apple and chocolate cake warm.
