Apple Cider Doughnuts
Ingredients
- 2 small, ripe apples
- 300 g flour
- 100 g brown sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- A pinch of salt
- 250 ml Borges walnut drink
- 2 tablespoons Borges apple cider vinegar
- 60 ml Borges light olive oil

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC and grease a donut pan with light olive oil.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, yeast, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

In another bowl, mix the walnut drink, apple cider vinegar, and light olive oil. Add the peeled and grated apples and stir well.

Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix until fully combined.

Fill the molds and bake the donuts for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown.

Let them cool on a wire rack and, if you like, sprinkle them with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar or coat them with a light glaze.
