Chili Chicken

This recipe is perfect for sharing with your family and friends. Delicious and very easy to prepare, you’ll have it ready in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 400g chicken breasts cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Borges Classic Olive Oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 green chilies
  • 60 g tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Mix the chicken cubes with the cornstarch and soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Brown the chicken for a few minutes in a pan with a generous splash of Borges Classic Olive oil. Remove using a slotted spoon, leaving the oil in the pan, and set aside.

  3. Step 3

    In the same oil, brown the onion and garlic for a few minutes. Add the pepper, sliced into strips, and the chilies. Cook until the pepper softens.

  4. Step 4

    Add the tomato sauce, chili sauce and a splash of water to the pan. Cook everything over low heat for a few minutes.

  5. Step 5

    Add the chicken, mix well, add salt to taste and serve very hot. Accompany with rice or potatoes.
