Easy Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 600 g beef cut into cubes
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 carrots
- 2 large potatoes
- 400 g meat stock (or water or vegetable stock)
- A splash of Borges Classic Olive Oil
- 200 g crushed tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bay leaf
Step by step

Step 1
In a saucepan with two tablespoons of Borges Classic Olive Oil , brown the beef for a few minutes. Remove and set aside.

Brown the onion and garlic in the same pan. Add the sliced carrot and diced potatoes. Cook everything together for a few minutes over medium heat.

Place the meat back in the pan and add the crushed tomatoes and bay leaf. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour in the beef stock and cook for about 45 minutes over medium-low heat.
