Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 4 large red peppers
- 300 g ground meat (beef, pork, or a mixture)
- ½ chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons Borges Classic olive oil
- 150 g crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 200 g cooked rice
- 80 g grated cheese to melt on top
Step by step

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC. Wash the peppers, slice off the tops and remove the seeds and ribs.

Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened.

Add the ground meat, season with salt and pepper, and cook until well browned.

Add the crushed tomatoes, paprika, and oregano. Cook everything for 5 minutes to blend the flavors together.

Combine the cooked rice with the meat mixture and add salt and pepper to taste.

Stuff the peppers with the mixture and set them in a baking dish. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the peppers are soft and the cheese is golden brown. Let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
