Garlic green beans

Ingredients

  • 600 g green beans (or flat beans)
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of ground cloves (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons Borges Canola & extra virgin olive oil

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Trim, wash and chop the green beans. Boil them in plenty of salted water or, if you prefer, steam them until they are al dente. 

  2. Step 2

    Sauté the sliced garlic in a frying pan with extra virgin olive oil; when it begins to brown, add the green beans. 

  3. Step 3

    Reduce the heat to keep the garlic from burning and cook everything for a few minutes, stirring constantly. 

     

  4. Step 4

    Add the cloves, salt and pepper and serve very hot.
