Grilled Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops, about 2 cm thick
  • 2 tablespoons Borges extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the balsamic glaze

  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar of Modena
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • A pinch of black pepper

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Take the pork chops out of the refrigerator 20 minutes before cooking. Season them with extra virgin olive oil, chopped garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper.

  2. Step 2

    Prepare the glaze by mixing the balsamic vinegar, honey, and mustard with a pinch of pepper. Set aside.
  3. Step 3

    Heat a frying pan or a grill pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Cook the chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown but still juicy on the inside.
  4. Step 4

    In the last minute of cooking, brush the chops with the balsamic glaze so that it caramelizes slightly without burning.

  5. Step 5

    Remove from the heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
