Panko-crusted salmon

Try this salmon recipe! A simple dish to prepare and ideal for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 150 g each)
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 100 g panko (Japanese breadcrumbs)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons Borges Sunflower Blend oil
  • Salt and pepper

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

  2. Step 2

    In a skillet over medium heat, heat the Sunflower Blend oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for one minute.

  3. Step 3

    Add the panko and toast until golden brown, stirring constantly. Take the pan off the heat and mix in the chopped parsley. Set aside.

  4. Step 4

    Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet, greased with a little Sunflower Blend oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Lightly brush each fillet with 1 tablespoon oil.

  5. Step 5

    Spread the panko mixture over the salmon fillets, pressing lightly to make sure it sticks.

  6. Step 6

    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the panko crust is crispy and golden brown.
