3 pasta recipes to prepare in a Tupperware container

When the warm weather arrives, the last place we want to be is slaving over a hot stove in the kitchen. And nowadays we have a key ally to help us eat healthy, tasty food: Tupperware. Thanks to these handy containers, we can take light meals anywhere with us—and they’re also great for whipping up mouthwatering, healthy pasta dishes.

MICROWAVED PASTA, SALMON AND VEGETABLES

INGREDIENTS:

* 150 g Borges penne rigate
* 2 fillets of salmon
* Borges balsamic vinegar
* Handful of sliced vegetables (e.g., fresh asparagus, carrots, green beans or courgettes)
* 2 teaspoons of Borges shelled pine nuts
* Borges extra-virgin olive oil

STEP BY STEP:

1.- Boil and strain the paste. Put by.

2.- Break up the fillets of raw salmon and mix in the sliced vegetables and pine nuts.

3.- Cover with half a glass of water, 3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Stir and microwave for 4 minutes.

4.- Add the pasta and stir. Microwave for an extra minute.

 

FRESH SALAD (IDEAL FOR A PICNIC)

INGREDIENTS:

* 250 g Borges fusilli
* Half a green, red and yellow pepper
* 250 g cherry tomatoes
* 150 g finely sliced ham
* 100 g feta cheese
* 1 green apple
* Borges raspberry balsamic sauce
* Borges extra-virgin olive oil

STEP BY STEP:

1.- Boil the pasta in salted water. Strain and leave to cool.

2.- Deseed and cut the peppers into small pieces.

3.- Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.

4.- Peel and quarter the apple.

5.- Mix all the ingredients together in a large Tupperware container.

6.- Serve with an olive oil dressing and drizzle Borges raspberry balsamic sauce on top to add flavour, texture, form and colour.

 

SPAGHETTI WITH A MEDITERRANEAN FLAVOUR

10 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

* 80 g Borges spaghetti
* Borges sliced black olives
* Borges Basilico sauce
* Tin of tuna
* Extra-virgin olive oil

STEP BY STEP:

1.- Boil and strain the pasta and pour into a Tupperware container.

2.- Add 2 tablespoons of sliced black olives, a tin of tuna (pour away the juice first) and a dash of olive oil.

3.- Add the Basilico sauce to taste and stir well.

4.- Microwave for 2 minutes. Remove, stir and heat for an extra minute.
