Chicken penne


  • 400 g Borges penne
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 kg tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper
  • A splash of Borges extra virgin olive oil
  • 800 ml chicken broth
  • 80 g grated Parmesan cheese

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Brown the onion in a pot with a splash of extra virgin olive oil and add the diced chicken breast. Once the chicken is browned, season with salt and pepper and set aside. 

  2. Step 2

    Add the sliced garlic to the pot along with the green pepper cut into thin strips. Cook for a few minutes. Grate the tomatoes and add them too. 

  3. Step 3

    Pour in the chicken broth. When it starts to boil, add the penne and a pinch of salt. Add or remove a little water during the cooking process to ensure the pasta is cooked to your liking. 


  4. Step 4

    Once the pasta is cooked, add the chicken. Stir. 

  5. Step 5

    Garnish with grated Parmesan and some basil leaves (optional).
