Creamy balsamic chicken


  • 4 chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper
  • A splash of Borges Sunflower and extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 60 ml Borges balsamic vinegar of Modena
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 100 ml chicken or vegetable broth

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Brown the diced chicken breasts in a very hot skillet with a splash of sunflower Blend oil.  Season with salt and pepper, remove and set aside. 

  2. Step 2

    In the same pan, brown the onion and garlic. Add the balsamic vinegar, honey, and chicken broth. Cook over medium heat until the mixture reduces and forms a creamy sauce. 

  3. Step 3

    Pour the sauce over the chicken and serve hot.
