Beef Curry


  • 800 g beef for stewing
  • 1 onion
  • 1 leek
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • A splash of extra-virgin olive oil Borges

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    In a pan, brown the onion, leek and garlic, all finely chopped, in the extra-virgin olive oil. Add the carrot, finely diced, and cook all the vegetables together for a few minutes. 

  2. Step 2

    Add the beef, curry powder, salt and pepper and cook for a few more minutes until the beef is lightly browned. 

  3. Step 3

    Add water (or vegetable broth) to the pot until the contents are just covered and continue cooking for about 20 or 30 minutes. Serve with white rice, if you like.
