Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • ½ of a lime
  • 1 tablespoon Borges First HARVEST extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 slices of rye or whole wheat seeded bread
  • 30 g feta
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • A pinch of chili flakes or harissa powder (to taste)
  • A handful of shelled, chopped pistachios
  • Salt and pepper
  • A few fresh mint leaves

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Mash the avocado in a bowl along with the lime juice, salt, pepper, and a tablespoon of olive oil. Stir well until the mixture is creamy.

  2. Step 2

    Toast the bread. Spread the avocado on top and add the crumbled feta.

  3. Step 3

    In a small bowl, mix the honey with the chili flakes or harissa (adjust the amount based on your spice tolerance).

  4. Step 4

    Drizzle a little spicy honey over the toast, sprinkle with the chopped pistachios and top with a few fresh mint leaves.
