In three simple and quick steps you will get some homemade lentils with vegetables to suck your fingers. Note:
Healthy and tasty lentils with vegetables in three steps
- ½ onion
- 1 red pepper
- 1 carrot
- 1 large peeled, seeded tomato
- 400 g quick-cooking lentils
- Borges Extra-virgin olive oil
Step by step
Gently fry the vegetables, starting with the onion, in a pan with a little extra-virgin olive oil.
When they’re cooked, add a little water and blend.
Put the lentils in a pan, add the blended vegetables and cover with water. If you like, you can add a ham bone for extra flavour. Cook for about 20 minutes.
