Homemade granola
Ingredients
- 130 g jumbo rolled oats
- 170 g buckwheat groats
- 50 g pumpkin seeds
- 50 g sunflower seeds
- 60 g Borges shelled California walnuts
- 60 g Borges Pizarro almonds
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 5 tbsp Borges extra-virgin olive oil
- 150 g maple syrup
- 90 g Borges seedless raisins
- 5 tbsp grated coconut
Step by step

Step 1
Mix together the cereal, seeds and nuts. Add the cinnamon, followed by the olive oil and maple syrup. Stir well to bind all the ingredients together.

Spread the mixture out evenly onto a large baking tray. Bake at 135 ºC for about 45 minutes, stirring every 10 to 15 minutes. The granola is cooked when it’s golden and crunchy.

Take out of the oven, add the raisins and grated coconut and stir again. Leave to cool before transferring to an airtight or metal container.

Pour a glass of hazelnut, walnut or almond drink on top for the perfect combination of flavours.
