Korean Carrot Salad

A perfect vegan dish for any meal. Easy and quick to prepare, it only takes 10 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 500 g carrots
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne powder
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 50 ml Borges extra virgin olive oil

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Peel the carrots and slice them into thin strips, julienne style, using a grater or a sharp knife.

  2. Step 2

    Place the carrots in a large glass jar with a lid and add the finely chopped garlic, salt, cayenne powder, and white vinegar.

  3. Step 3

    Heat the oil in a small saucepan and carefully pour it over the garlic and spice mixture to enhance the flavors.

  4. Step 4

    Stir well and let it rest in the refrigerator to let the flavors blend. You can eat it immediately, but it will be even better the next day.
