In a saucepan, mix the almond drink and sugar and bring to a boil.
Homemade milk caramel with almond (vegan)
- One liter of Borges Nature almond drink
- A cup of sugar (or substitute) (about 350 g)
- A few drops of vanilla essence
Step by step
When the mixture boils, lower to medium heat and stir with a wooden spoon until its consistency changes, for about 10 minutes.
Then reduce the heat and cook over low heat for another half hour. Add the vanilla essence, stir, remove from heat and let cool.
