Spaghetti all’assassina

If you are a pasta lover, you will love this dish! A healthy recipe suitable for vegans and vegetarians.


  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 chillies
  • 100 g tomato sauce
  • 2 L water
  • 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • A splash of extra virgin olive oil Borges
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of black pepper

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    In a wide, deep pan, sauté the finely chopped onion and garlic in a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Add the tomato sauce and cook for a few minutes, stirring constantly.

  2. Step 2

    Add the spaghetti to the sauce and let it cook on both sides. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Step 3

    In a separate bowl, mix the water with the tomato paste and add this mixture to the pan to finish cooking the spaghetti without an excess of water. Add salt to taste if necessary.

  4. Step 4

    Remove from the heat when the spaghetti is fully cooked and has absorbed this strong, flavorful broth. Serve topped with grated parmesan.
