A baked honey mustard chicken recipe served in an oven tray with sauce


  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 70 ml honey
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 small lemon
  • 12 chicken thighs
  • 100 ml brandy
  • 50 g Borges chopped almonds
  • Salt and pepper

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Mix the finely chopped garlic in a bowl with the honey, mustard and lemon juice.

  2. Step 2

    Put the chicken on an oven tray and pour the brandy all over it or baste using a brush. Then use a brush to baste with the mustard and honey sauce, making sure to cover it well. Add salt and pepper.

  3. Step 3

    Bake for an hour, but halfway through turn the chicken thighs over, add the chopped almonds and leave to cook for the remaining time.
