Boil the spaghetti in salted water following the instructions on the packet until it’s cooked al dente. Strain and put by.
Creamy prawn pasta
- 400 g spaghetti
- 4 finely chopped cloves of garlic
- 1 finely chopped white onion
- 2 tbsp Borges extra-virgin olive oil
- 300 g prawns
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 60 ml white wine
- 500 ml cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Step by step
In the meantime, make a sofrito with the garlic, onion and olive oil until the onion turns clear. Add the prawns and sauté until they turn pink. Add salt and pepper.
Add the tomato paste and sauté for a minute. Then add the wine and leave to reduce. Pour on the cream and cook over a medium heat for 8 minutes.
Mix the spaghetti in with the sauce and serve.
